About Winterbloom Tea

Winterbloom Tea is a tea shop in Fayetteville, North Carolina. It is listed at 238 Hay St, Fayetteville, NC 28301, which places it among the local businesses of Fayetteville that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as bar, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 12–9 pm. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Winterbloom Tea at (910) 491-3536; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is winterbloomtea.wixsite.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 407 reviews, which is a strong result for a tea shop in Fayetteville and suggests consistent service.

Fayetteville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. I can’t speak highly enough about this tea shop. I’ve been all over the place and the variety of teas, dedication of the staff and owner, Josh, to their craft, and the friendly culture they facilitate is second to none. Whether you want to come and hang out to do some work, meet up with friends, or just get out of the house, this is one best places to go in all of Fayetteville. My go-to tea was the Jade Cloud green tea but I always enjoyed sampling the wide varieties of teas they prepared. They also introduced me to a drink I haven’t been able to get anywhere else, the Fuzzy Basil, which was a peach tea and basil rum mix that was delicious. Occasionally in the evenings, they do open-mic nights, which are fun events, where you can hear locals perform musical pieces and poetry. This is a must-visit for locals and to anyone passing through Fayetteville.

The shop is clean, welcoming, and the staff are friendly. Coming from NYC, I’m used to tea shops where staff help with blends and offer samplesβ€”something that was missing here. You can mix your own, but since I’m not knowledgeable, I stuck with the pre-mixed options, and the staff offered little guidance. With a bit more assistance or samples, I likely would have purchased more than the four pre-mixed bags. (So far, I’ve tried two of the four, and they are good.) Overall, it’s a lovely shop, and improving this aspect could make the experience even betterβ€”for me, at least. Hopefully, when I go back, this will be implemented! :)

Winterbloom has all the feels. From the moment you walk in, the energy is calm, curated, and comforting in that curl-up-with-a-book kind of way. The vibe is unmatchedβ€”it’s like the space itself is steeped in intention. And the teas? Sooo good. Flavorful, smooth, and clearly crafted with care. Whether you’re grabbing something for clarity, calm, or cozy vibes, there’s a tea that just gets you. This isn’t just a cafΓ©β€”it’s a reset button in a cup. IG @The_Savorist

We came to Winterbloom Tea back in March during a week-long stay in Fayetteville. Everything about this place was amazing - so much that we wish there was something similar in the greater Atlanta area. The teas, each catering to different ailments, were tasty and refreshing. I love that they have a Tea of the Day Blend that changes every day. The friendly staff members are extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to recommendations. The ambiance is both chill and lively, which makes it a great place to study, grab a drink with friends, or just hang out. Props to whoever curated the playlist because good music, in my opinion, is a huge part of enjoyment. Overall, I can't wait to come back again - both to Fayetteville and Winterbloom Tea!
